The Hafensommer is Würzburg’s annual cultural festival taking place in an unique atmosphere (think floating stage!) down at the old waterfront. The two week event includes concerts, theatre, art, and open air cinema. You can get tickets online or at the box office.
MONDAY, 01.08.:
Babelfish BBQ:

At the Babelfish, Mondays are for BBQ! Join the hostel staff and other guest at 8pm on our rooftop terrace for some delicious Franconian Bratwurst - or just get some drinks at our bar and enjoy the evening hanging out with other travelers.
Hafensommer: 17 Hippies live in concert:

For their 20th anniversairy the huge band from Berlin is playing at Hafensommer Würzburg. The confection of various folk influences made 17 Hippies popular in France and Germany over the last two decades. Eastern European rhythms and melodies meet French chanson and American folk music with German, English and French lyrics. 17 Hippies will make you dance in the old docks of Würzburg.
TUESDAY, 02.08.:
Babelfish City Tour:

Tour the city with Katie! Meet in front of the hostel at 5pm, where we will start our free City Tour. Enjoy walking to some of the historic sites of Würzburg and get to know the City from a local’s point of view.
Hafensommer: Daniel Biscan & Afenginnn feat. New Future live in concert:

Daniel Biscan from Würzburg will open the stage at 8pm before the Danish group Afenginnwill present their "Bastard Ethno" in cooperation with the Würzburg based choir New Future.
Boneflower, Descubriendo a Mr. Mime & Savanna Skean (Screamo, Indie, Post-Rock):

Boneflower from Madrid, Spain play hard but atmospheric Screamo. They are touring with Descubriendo a Mr. Mime who will perform their halting, atmospheric Post-Rock. Local support will be given by Savanna Skean from Würzburg who just won the "Enter the Stage" competition.
WEDNESDAY, 03.08.:

Hafensommer: Julie Campiche Quartet & Julia Kadel Trio:

Harp player Julie Campiche from Switzerland will present her newest instrumental project and support the German piano trio lead by Julia Kadel.
THURSDAY, 04.08.:

Join Schmu and other guests at 8pm for a fun Beer Tasting evening at our bar. Sample the various beers we sell, and hopefully you will find one you like.
Stoned Jesus & Zeremony (Psychedelic / Stoner / 70s):

Ukraine's Psychedelic Stoner Rock band Stoned Jesus will perform at the Immerhin again and bring you harmonic, atmospheric and psychedelic vibrations. They will be supported by Würzburg's local 70s Psychedelic Rock band Zeremony.

The annual Ringpark Festival will be opened. After the ceremony there will be live music, drinks, food and entertainment.
SATURDAY, 06.08.:

On the second day the Ringpark Festival will begin at 2pm. Next to a Bob Dylan Cover Band there will be Jazz, Latino and Soul artists live in concert.

SUNDAY, 07.08.:

Join Jenny and other travelers for a game of XXL Jenga with a little twist to it. Meet at 7:30pm on our rooftop terrace for a fun evening of games and hanging out.
Jazz Breakfast:

Enjoy a delicious breakfast while listening to Jazz artists performing at this gorgeous Café in a calm yard in town.
