Electric Eel Shock & Mf Ruckus

Winter - Weihnacht - Winterschlaf auf Schulwandbildern (exhibition)
@ Mainfränkisches Museum (Festung Marienberg), 10am-5pm
Right on time for St. Nicholas Day, the museum at Marienberg Fortress is opening their new winter themed special exhibition „Winter – Weihnacht – Winterschlaf“ in cooperation with the Würzburg Research Center for Historical Media. The exhibition shows a selection of the center’s comprehensive collection of historical school wallpapers. “The illustrated school wall paintings date from the end of the 19th to the middle of the 20th century. Older visitors will feel back in their own school days, the younger ones will be amazed at how memorable one can show the various topics without electronics on colorful wall pictures!”

Babelfish City Tour

Tour the city with Katie! Meet in front of the hostel at 5pm, where we will start our free City Tour. Enjoy walking to some of the historic sites of Würzburg and get to know the City from a local’s point of view.

Nikolaustreff: Welcome to Würzburg! (international games night)
@ Kellerperle, 8.30pm
The “Welcome to Würzburg” events originally are centered on Würzburg’s international student community, but everybody is welcome. “Get together in a cosy atmosphere and have a board game night! There will be a selection of games, but feel free to bring your own. If you're not a big gamer, just come to hang out and have a drink with your friends.”

Dornheim Live: Raintalk (Pop)

RAINTALK
from Mannheim just recently released their first album “Master of Space and Time”. This Wednesday they’re playing a “pay what you want” gig at the Dornheim, so that’s a great chance to get to know the band. Have a pre-listen of their single “Two Rivers” here.

BBK Winterausstellung: Alle Jahre wieder … (exhibition)
@ BBK Galerie im Kulturspeicher, 3pm-7pm
“On 10th November 1972, numerous artist organizations from all over the Federal Republic of Germany met in the St. Paul’s Church in Frankfurt for a congress under the motto: ‘More solidarity for collective action’. The result of this memorable congress was the establishment of the BBK, the Federal Association of Visual Artists, as a common platform in order to demand improvements of social and occupationally relevant conditions.” Since then the BBK has been doing a lot of great work, creating a lot of great art. The current exhibition at the Kulturspeicher shows latest works and works in progress of Würzburg’s BBK members (03.12.-18.12.).
