We're happy to announce that our weekly hostel activities are back for the summer! In addition to our recommendations on what to do / go see in Würzburg this week, you'll find a "at the Babelfish" section in the schedule below.
· MONDAY:
Wunschlos Jazzing (Jazz jam)

The
Jazzinitiative Würzburg is meeting for their „wunschlos jazzing“ jam session at the
Wunschlos Glücklich (one of our favourite Cafés in town) this Monday. Everyone is invited – even to join in, if you’re up for it.
AT THE BABELFISH: Grilling Night with Thorsten
8pm; rooftop terrace
Join Thorsten and other guests on our terrace for some delicious Bratwurst. Even if you do not eat Bratwurst, enjoy the evening on our terrace hanging out with other travellers.
· TUESDAY:
Free City Tour with Katie
5pm; in front of the hostel
Enjoy walking to some of the historic sites of Würzburg on the 1,5 to 2 hour tour. We will end the tour on the Old Saint's Bridge enjoying the view of Festung Marienberg.
· WEDNESDAY:
Museum im Kulturspeicher / “Niederländische Moderne” (art exhibiton)

The current temporary exhibition “Niederländische Moderne” (Dutch modernism) at the
Museum im Kulturspeicher is showing the collection Vendroop from Groningen.
AT THE BABELFISH:
Games Night with Jenny
7:30pm; hostel lounge
Win or Lose, come have fun playing games with Jenny and fellow travellers! Meet in the Hostel Lounge at 7:30pm for a fun evening of card and/or board games.

Beer Tasting

Thirsty, but not sure what beer is best? Join Thorsten at 8 pm for a Beer Tasting evening. Sample the various beers we sell, and hopefully you will find one you like.
· FRIDAY:
Twisted Society (clubbing)

Raw techno, ghetto house – never mind Friday the 13th.
AT THE BABELFISH:
Jenga Night
7:30pm; rooftop terrace
Join Jenny and other travellers for a game of XXL Jenga with a little twist to it. Meet at 7:30pm on our terrace for a fun evening of Jenga!
· SATURDAY:
Boat Tours to Veitshöchheim / Rococo Gardens
@ Alter Kranen; hourly departures 10am-4pm; round trip 12 EUR
“Starting at the
Alter Kranen boat dock, cruise down the Main River past vineyards and the Oberzell Monastery to the town of Veitshöchheim.” The boat tours are offered all week, we just thought this might make for a nice Saturday outing :) Make sure to get some ice-cream at
Eis Stephan on your way to the Rococo Gardens!
· SUNDAY:
Elektronischer Pfingstsonntag (clubbing)
@ L-Club; 6pm
How about spending Whitsunday at the “smallest interactive music club in the world”?
Fabiano Caprioletto, Jugan Seele, and Manu Lawong are presenting electronic music at its best.

Surprise Sunday!
8pm; hostel lounge
Will it be Hostel Quiz, German Lessons, Upcycling Night, Movie Night, or maybe even Eurocup Night? Meet in the hostel lounge at 8 pm for an evening of fun, no matter what activity we choose.
