The local wine estates Juliusspital, Bürgerspital, Hofkeller, and Weingut am Stein are opening their wineries for an open house event this Saturday. Take a (free!) tour of Würzburg’s best and most beautiful wine cellars and learn about the wine estates and our beloved “Frankenwein”. There’s a shuttle bus to get you from the city center (Barabrossaplatz and Residenz) to Weingut am Stein and back, leaving every half an hour from 6pm. We highly recommend taking that chance of experiencing the local wine culture, since winery tours usually can get quite pricey.
