Babelfish City Tour

Tour the city with Katie! Meet in front of the hostel at 5pm, where we will start our free City Tour. Enjoy walking to some of the historic sites of Würzburg and get to know the City from a local’s point of view.

Babelfish Games Night

Get together and make new friends at the Babelfish! Meet in our lounge for a fun evening of card and/or board games with Jenny and fellow travelers.

1. Würzburger Federweißerfest (Federweisser Festival 22.-25.09.)

Summer is almost over, but that doesn’t mean the wine season is: it’s finally time for Federweißer (new wine) and Zwiebelkuchen (onion tart)! Würzburg’s first ever Federweißer Festival is taking place at the Felicia this weekend (Thursday – Sunday). In case you’d rather do your own thing, you can always get a bottle of Federweißer and some snacks at the super market and go for a nice pick nick at the Main or walk up to Fortress Marienberg to enjoy the beautiful view over the city.

Thirsty? Join us for a free tasting of various Franconian beer from Würzburg and Werneck. Barkeep Schmu will be happy to introduce you to our local beer culture :)

Tbh, there isn’t that much going on in Würzburg this Sunday (except maybe for the Rock.Race, a baby and kids flea market, or the city theater’s “Auftakt!” event), so we’d recommend just enjoying the day exploring the town, going for some coffee, or taking a peek into one of the city’s museums or galleries. Later on, you’re very welcome to join our Hostel’s weekly Jenga games night.
