MONDAY 22 May:

Vegan BBQ @Café Cairo, 17:30h:

Every second Monday the Cairo offers a vegan event. Because of the beautiful weather we will meet in the gorgeous green backyard. Join the calm and friendly atmosphere between the vineyards, the river and one of Würzburg's nicest venues. Vegan food will be served directly from the grill for a good price.
Today our friends from VIVA CON AGUA will prepare the food. That means all of their profit will be sent to support projects that help to distribute clean drinking water in areas where there is a lack of it.
This event we will also the 30th anniversairy of the Café Cairo. The venue is located near the Ludwigbrücke (the bridge with the lion statues) and can be reached by foot or you can catch a tram to the stations "Marktplatz" or "Ludwigbrücke".

TUESDAY 23 May:

Theatre: Giuseppe Verdi's "Nabucco" @Mainfranken Theater, 19:30h:

The story about Nabucco, the king of Babylon, and Zaccaria, the Hebrew priest. A woderful classic opera by the great Giuseppe Verdi directed by Marie Jacquot, Pamela Recinella, Madeleine Boyd, Berthold Warnecke and Alexis Agrafiotis.
Watch the young and highly qualified artists perform the 1842 classic from Italy.

The Maifranken Theater is in Theaterstraße, only some few minutes to walk from Babelfish Hostel.

Barbecue @Babelfish Hostel, 18:30h:

Free Franconian Bratwurst will be grilled for our guests on the sunny hostel terrace.

 

WEDNESDAY 24 May:

Block Party @ Waldschänke Dornheim, 17:00h-01:00h and Kurt & Komisch, 00:00h-05:00h:

Double party in two venues, with only one admission fee of 10€, shuttle busses between the places and discount on the first drin or meal. Nine DJs!
In Dornheim you'll be served with the beautiful atmosphere of the green and calm area next to the riverside while being at one of the hippest dancefloors in town. BBQ is provided until the venue closes.
Afterwards catch one of the shuttle busses to get to Kurt & Komisch in Sanderstraße, the main vessel of Würzburg's night life. Join many wonderful, happy people in this basement to dance all night until the sun rises again.
DJs: Dexter, Ecke Prenz, Tereza, QNOE, Demir Cesar, Karl Highnss, Äl Bacone, Slize & Philo Philta (live), Siegfried & S-Trix (live).

29th Africa Festival @Talavera, all day from Thursday until Sunday:

The biggest festival for African culture and music in Europe is taking place for the 29th time.
Next to the concerts there are many stands, stalls, events, info and places to get together.
