TUESDAY, 25 April:

Concert: Pascal Briggs & Zander Schloss @Immerhin, 21:00h:

Two legends of Punk Rock are coming to the Immerhin! Pascal Briggs is mostly known for his work with his bands Public Toys and District. The guitar player who also used to be a member of TV Smith started his solo career in 2008 with his first Single "Not the one". Even though he may have become more silent within the last years, Briggs decided to get on the stage at the bar of the Immerhin for you.
Also with his acoustic guitar Zander Schloss will perform in the comfortable bar room. He is mostly known for being the bass player of Weirdos and of course the legendary Circle Jerks. Also he and his baritone voice acoompanied The Clash's Joe Strummer for quite a long time.
The Immerhin is a small and outstandingly friendly venue in the cellars of the Posthalle - only five minutes walking distance from the Babelfish Hostel. Next to the great bar with affordable cold (and hot) drinks there is a stage room for concerts. Both (Punk Rock-) songwriters will perform in the bar, so you can watch their performance while sitting on comfortable couches and arm chairs.
No admission fee - Whiskey Sour all night - candle light.

WEDNESDAY, 26 April:

Concert: The Cosmic Dead, Support: Gorilla Deathtrap @Kellerperle, 19:00h:

PsychSpace Rock and Doom Metal! Grab your space suit and get on the vessel with Glasgow's The Cosmic Dead and their support Gorilla Deathtrap from Würzburg. The Cosmic Dead have played chaotic, psychedelic Space Rock with lots of improvised parts and jams on stage for the last seven years. With their new LP "Psych is dead" the Scotch quartet is back on tour to spread their deep space sounds. They will be supported by Würzburg's both young and promising Doom Metal newcomers Gorilla Deathtrap - sludgy grooves, brachial riffs and an immense dose of force.
The Kellerperle is a venue below the mensa and cafeteria near the new university. In this fancy basement you can often get to see concerts by small and big artists from all around the globe, participate in debates or at fleamarkets or just have a drink and watch films.
Admission fee: 12€

FRIDAY, 28 April:

U20 Poetry Slam @Café Cairo, 18:30h:

Get ready for the next generation of poetry slammers! This will be a poetic battle between Franconia's most promising young talents. Every participant is under 20 years old, but all of them already know how to impress their audience with use of metaphoric language, alliterations and anaphora and a whole bunch of more stylistic devices. For only 6€ you can be a part of the crowd and of course you will get the right to vote for the best performances of the evening.
The Café Cairo is a beautiful venue in the Old Main District (Altes Mainviertel) that has just turned 30 years. Celebrate that birthday with the Cairo staff by visiting their events - it is really worth it!
