Babelfish Grill Night
@ Babelfish Hostel; 8pm
At the Babelfish, Mondays are for BBQ! Join the hostel staff and other guest at 8pm on our rooftop terrace for some delicious Franconian Bratwurst - or just get some drinks at our bar and enjoy the evening hanging out with other travelers.
 
·       TUESDAY 28.06.

Babelfish City Tour
@ Babelfish Hostel; 5pm
Tour the city with Katie!
Meet in front of the hostel at 5pm, where we will start our free City Tour. Enjoy walking to some of the historic sites of Würzburg and get to know the City from a local’s point of view.
 
·       WEDNESDAY 29.06.

Campus Lichter (Summer Party)
@ Hubland Campus; from 6pm
Even if you’re not a college student, we’d recommend checking out the University’s annual summer party thrown at Campus Hubland. Enjoy the nice atmosphere, live music, food and cool drinks. There is a shuttle bus leaving from Barbarossaplazt, see the schedule here.

Babelfish Games Night

Win or Lose, come have fun playing games with Jenny and fellow travelers! Meet in the Hostel Lounge at 7:30pm for a fun evening of card and/or board games.

Babelfish Beer Tasting
@ Babelfish Hostel; 8pm
Join Thorsten and other guests at 8pm for a fun Beer Tasting evening at our bar. Sample the various beers we sell, and hopefully you will find one you like.

Pearljam goes International (Open Stage)
@ Kellerperle; 7:30pm
The Kellerperle is not your average students club, trust us. This Thursday it’s time for one of their Open Stages, aiming to bring together as many different musicians from different cultural and musical backgrounds as possible.
 
·       FRIDAY 01.07.

Kiliani-Volksfest (Kiliani Fair)
@ Talavera; Opening Ceremony 3pm; 01.-17.07.
The Kiliani Fun Fair is opening its gates this Friday! For two weeks, the fairground Talavera is transforming into a fun amusement park, offering everything from rollercoasters and shooting galleries to fish on a stick, specially brewed festival beer and cotton candy. Keep an eye out for the big opening fireworks (10:30pm)!

Babelfish Jenga Night
@ Babelfish Hostel; 7:30pm
Join Jenny and other travelers for a game of XXL Jenga with a little twist to it. Meet at 7:30pm on our rooftop terrace for a fun evening of games and hanging out.
 
·       SATURDAY 02.07.

Kiliani-Festzug (Kiliani Parade)
@ 12:30pm; Residenz – Altstadt (pedestrian zone) – Talavera
Every year, the opening of Kiliani-Volksfest is celebrated with a big parade. About 2.000 people from different local and regional associations (think traditional folk costumes) are taking part in the spectacle walking from the Würzburg Residence through the city center towards the fairground.

“Kleine Nachtmusik” im Residenzgarten (Classical Music Open Air)
@ Residence Garden; 9pm
The "Nachtmusik" open air at the Residence Garden is part of Würzburg’s annual Mozart Festival and definitely one of its highlights. The Bavarian Chamber Orchestra Bad Brückenau is filling the evening air with operatic arias and instrumental pieces by Mozart, Gluck, Paisiello, Gazzaniga, Kraus, Sarti and Salieri. We highly recommend you trying to get your hands on the tickets sold at the box offices (opening 7:30pm, Frankonia Brunnen / Oegg Tor, 10-25 EUR)!

Electro Swing Nation – Summerswing (clubbing)
@ MS Zufriedenheit; 11pm
Electro Swing at its finest with Mathieu Beretton, Count Basic and Pleasant Grooves. Ahoy!
 
·       SUNDAY 03.07.

Boat Tour to Veitshöchheim / Rococo Gardens
@ Alter Kranen; hourly departures 10am-4pm; round trip 12 EUR
How about a nice little Sunday outing? “Starting at the Alter Kranen boat dock, cruise down the Main River past vineyards and the Oberzell Monastery to the town of Veitshöchheim.” Make sure to get some ice-cream at Eis Stephan on your way to the Rococo Gardens!
